Venue info

There are parking spaces nearby and the venue is easily accessed by train or bus. Inside the venue there is a downstairs standing space and as well as a viewing balcony upstairs. There is a bar in the venue, serving both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Metro was founded in 1982 by Joe Shanahan, inspired by the arts and culture scene in New York City. To celebrate Metro's 25th anniversary in 2007 The Decemberists played a special show backed by the Grant Park Orchestra. Artists ranging from Bob Dylan to Nirvana have taken to the stage.
