Clarke Theatre Clarke Theatre at Heritage Park Centre Located in beautiful Mission, British Columbia, Canada, The Clarke Foundation Theatre opened in 1996 with a gala celebration, a culmination of years of hard work and fund raising. Since that time it has been the cultural hub of the community of Mission with hundreds of presentations highlighting the enormous wealth of local as well as Canadian and international talent. The Clarke Theatre is owned and operated by Mission Public Schools and is a multi-purpose facility for civic and touring events. The Clarke offers professional technical staff, competitive rates and an extremely dedicated group of volunteer ushers which makes for an excellent experience for any performing events. The Clarke also caters to meetings, award ceremonies, workshops and technical training. The Clarke Theatre is a 702 balcony theatre with 496 seats on the main floor and 206 in the balcony. It features state of the art equipment, a sprung dance floor, orchestra pit and 20 trap doors in the stage. There are 4 available dressing rooms, a green room and a lobby area used for displays, concession and merchandizing sales. The Clarke Theatre is located in Mission, within easy driving distance of most of the Lower Mainland and is approximately an hour and a half from Vancouver International Airport. The community of Mission boasts all the amenities including fine dining, and excellent accommodations. Mission is also known for its annual Folk Music Festival in July each year.
