The Turbosonics

It Has Arrived! The long-awaited self-titled debut CD by The Turbosonics has been released. Recorded by Whiz Kid, Tom Breiding, at his AmeriSon Studio, The Turbosonics stay true to their roots as Pittsburgh’s premier surf band does what they do best, “playin’ surf at maximum impact!”
To celebrate this new offering, The Turbosonics have scheduled a CD release tour over next few months. The CD can be downloaded through the BandCamp site for $7.00, or $8.00 to purchase the physical CD from BandCamp. However, the CD may be purchased for $5.00 at the CD release shows!
Thanks to the supportive comments by Sean McDowell, Slim Forsythe, Tom Breiding and DJ Zombo, there’s such a great buzz in the air about the music that an Australian radio station, 2WAY FM, has requested permission to play cuts from the CD; and Unsteady Freddy has invited them to play his surf shows at Otto’s Shrunken Head in NYC. Weekly, the FB page is receiving likes from Pittsburgh, across the nation, and internationally! Special thanks also has to go out to those who invited the band to play at their venues and special events, including Ron Moondog Esser, The Drifters Car Club, Drusky Entertainment, Dave Ramono from Opus One Productions, Friends of the Riverfront, Jimmy Nied, the Pittsburgh Marathon, and Howler's Coyote.
