City Shanty Band

City Shanty Band is a crew of 11 landlocked sailors, singing songs of nautical nostalgia and city calamity. The Hackney based a-cappella group – inspired by the work songs of the age of sail – howl out shanties old and new, borrowed and blue, with an aim to keep alive the tradition of communal singing and storytelling in the blogging generation. CSB is young, dumb and full of rum, and ready for a rumpus.

Orlando Seale and the Swell

From intimate to epic, from melancholic to euphoric, Orlando Seale and the Swell bring you songs of the lost and found on the underground, the club-card redeemers seeking salvation in supermarkets. Their soaring, richly orchestrated songs have been compared to Arcade Fire, Talking Heads and Bowie.

'To hear them in full splendor makes me want to weep, absolutely unique.' Jo Good, BBC London

'Michael Nyman gets his groove on' Dave Robertson, BBC London

Rozi Plain

Rozi was born Rosalind Leyden, in the leafy-greens of Winchester, 22 years ago. Since moving to Bristol she’s been working on the ferries that bob in and out of the city, along the Avon, whilst creating her own beautifully intimate music that captures life slowly floating by. With her older brother Sam (aka Romanhead), and her pal Rachael Dadd.
