Amazing show, amazing stage setup and performance. So happy he played Pursuit and Reset, amazing night all around. He even had the venue pass out water from the front. People lost their shit constantly.
Gesaffelstein sure knows how to get the place going, always plays a great set. Have seen him 4 times and always needed to be front row and see him smoke those cigarettes in hopes of him ashing his cigarette on me or sweating on me. He always is amazing and i don't think i would ever miss him if hes in town.
Mike Lévy comes from the land of techno so it really is no surprise that his electronica project Gesaffelstein is considered to be so successful. The French artist has been chosen to work alongside varied clientele including ASAP Rocky, Lana Del Rey and Phoenix and between his commitments as a producer and remixing artist he still manages to take to the road from time to time on headline tours and performing at some of the biggest events across the globe.
Although it often looks like Mike is in a very deep zone whilst behind his mixing decks, he does notice the crowd cheering and roaring as he builds and builds his ambient music before dropping at lightning pace. The lights change from hazy pinks and purples to an aqua blue as he goes for some deeper trance mid-set and the jumping suddenly changes to the whole crowd moving to the permeating deep bass. His famous remix of 'Blues Jeans' by Lana Del Rey goes down fantastically with the gathered audience and they go completely wild causing the brooding musician to allow himself a huge grin as he looks out on the sea of blue lights and happy dance revellers.
