Luis Enrique is currently touring across 1 country and has 1 upcoming concert.
The final concert of the tour will be at Puerto Santa Cruz de Tenerife in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
In the 1990s we experienced Mr Enrique's great performance at The Universal Theater, Los Angeles.
Memorable, lots of fine musicians as well as Luis playing percussion at times! Enjoyed every moment of his live show! I have bought many of his CDs. I, myself am a conger/percussionist(Brazilian, Jazz) in USA and in the Philippines! I wonder when LUIS ENRIQUE will schedule more activity in either California or Arizona...don't forget Manila, Philippines
With two Grammy Awards under his belt, I had no doubt that Luis Enrique’s performance would be fantastic, and when he came out on stage on his own and began improvising vocally before his band joined him on stage, I knew it was going to be phenomenal. The control and range of his voice that he demonstrated before he even launched into the full performance was incredible. When his band joined him on stage, the crowd went wild, and they started playing the opening introduction to Yo No Se Manana, one of his most famous songs. He has the audience singing along right away, and we all had our arms in the air in appreciation. It’s always refreshing to hear a performer who is backed by a talented band, and Enrique gave them all the credit they deserved, allowing them to play solos, getting the audience to cheer for them, and letting them pick which track in the set list was next.
He played through a selection of his newer and older material, predominantly focusing on Soy Y Sere, which was great, because no one in the audience had heard that album performed live before. He was solid in his vocal performance from beginning to end, and the applause for an encore at the end of the show was incredible, so he ended up coming back to play 2 songs. He was a real crowd pleaser, and it was a fantastic show.
