Madison Square Garden is a 20,000 capacity venue located at 7th Avenue & 32nd Street, Manhattan. The arena hosts music concerts as well as sporting events and entertainments. The venue has lived through three previous incarnations.
The original Madison Square Garden was built in 1879 on 26th Street and Madison Avenue, hosting circus shows, bicycle racing and boxing matches, with a 10,000 person capacity.
