  • Wonderful evening - particularly the Lark Ascending played by Duncan Riddell an English Soloist who completely understood the nature of the music and the singing ecstasy of the Lark- spot on>

  • Formed in 1987 The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra it has become so what a national institution. It has managed to build a stellar reputation, not just here in the U.K but across the globe. To date they have manage to light up some of the biggest and most renown venues, with a wonderful array of music. I do believe there is a common misconception when people hear the word orchestra, with many assuming regimented classical music. However, The Royal Philharmonic has gained much of its main stream popularity with their wonderful arrangements of modern pop songs and compositions made famous on the West End stage. The respect they command in music circles is quite incredible, with many superstar musicians often seen working in their projects. They have had numerous collaborations over the years include one with legendary artists Andrea Bocelli, Lesley Garett, Sting and Stevie Wonder.

As a live act they also untouchable, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is the creme de la creme! Made up of array of gifted musicians with so many other thousands of young budding musicians honing their craft, in the hope that one day they maybe able to join one of the most coveted Orchestras of the modern day.

They have had many different tours such as ‘Mancini Rocks the Pops’, ‘Pop Go the Beatles’ and ‘Andrew Lloyd Webber Classics’ as well as many others. Theres is not doubt they have something for everyone!
