Loud, explosive, intense, silly, raw and apocalyptic are a few adjectives that come to time when I think about Acid Mothers Temple's live performance.

They bring an unparalleled amount energy to the stage that leaves you feeling grateful to have witnessed that live and at the same time a little disoriented, like you just came back from visiting a dream on an alien planet.

The fierceness that the performers unleash on their instruments borders on the line of abuse. There's no containing the beast that is Acid Mothers Temple, if you're looking for some face-melting psych rock done ruthlessly than look no further. Bring earplugs or they may be the last band you get to hear live. Which wouldn't be a terrible thing.

Acid Mothers Temple are so far out that they exist in a region of space and time in which no other particle of matter in the universe can reach.

We watched them last night at the Band on the Wall in Manchester (20 Oct 2015).

An unbelievable gig; will travel far to see these again.
