Keke Palmer

Keke Palmer is a woman of many talents. It’s not often that you encounter a singer/songwriter who is also a fashion guru, an activist, a tv presenter, and a dancer, but Palmer has it all under control! I would say that now after her child acting days, Palmer’s music and acting careers are somewhat neck and neck in leading what she does.
Her most successful musical release, her 2012 self titled mix tape, was received well, and with some critical acclaim. I saw her live at an organised street festival, where she was headlining a stage to promote her music. She’s a bubbly confident young girl with a passion for her music that’s simply contagious. She was engaging very well with the audience, so as by the time that she began singing, she’d already won everyone over.
She was belting out high notes with such power and support that you wouldn’t believe it was coming from such a tiny person. From start to finish she blew everyone away, riffing and powering through her R&B tunes. I knew a few of her tracks which it was great to sing along to, and hearing her new music was refreshing. Hopefully she’ll release another album and get touring again soon!
