This is the first time I got the opportunity to see Carach Angren headlining, I got to see them at Graspop last year and it was great, but this was just absolutely fantastic, normally you always see comments that they should get a guitar player so that Seregor could focus more on the vocals and overall performance, well that wish has been granted, now they have a guitar player and the show has taken a whole new level, the sound was perfect and also the theatrical aspect of the show was much better. They're definitely my favorite Black Metal band and I never thought I would see them in China since not many bands come here that often, they delivered a pretty solid performance playing songs from all their records in approximately 1 hour and a half, from classics like haunting echoes from the 17th century to the new songs from this is no fairytale like when crows tick on windows. After the show they hung out for a little while on the merchandise section taking pictures with the fans and signing stuff, it was pretty awesome. Overall I would recommend to see them every time you get a chance. 10/10 would definitely see them again. Best symphonic black metal out there in my opinion.
The lineup for this concert was incredible. Local support provided by Goatmill (Columbus, OH) was superb. Great sound and stage appearance. Wolfheart (Finland) was amazing. Have never listened to this band and to our surprise, it was such a good performance that we are all fans now. Mors Principium Est (Finland) was actually the main reason I attended the show. While the lead singer was under the weather (due to something he ate), he still made it happen and put on a great show. This band is a must see! Carach Angren was everything we expected, brutal melodic black metal with all the theatrics. A brutal set of amazing songs. The energy from the band was felt throughout the whole set, and all the band members made time to hangout with fans after the show. All the bands were incredible and they all ensured they spent time with the fans at the venue. Well worth it.
one of the best Blackmetal Gig i was able to attend and more over thanks to the promoters for this happening in Middle east. Carach Angren is a new wave in black metal scene and their peformence was really making a clwar vibe in blackmetal followers as well as in asian regions and they are very down to earth young brutal gentle men, all the best for the future and metal rules hail Dubai and metal \../
