• These guys are awesome live! Their music has so much more depth in person than their albums.

  The six person ensemble was just perfect to showcase their latest album "The Thread That Keeps Us". Several members could play multiple instruments and everything sounded well rehearsed and polished.

  Even though the Rickshaw isn't the most first-class venue in Vancouver, it was a good location to watch Calexico. The funky old surroundings and the casual crowd made for a great evening.

• Calexico put on a great show at Revolution Hall, in Portland, on 06/07/18. They are excellent musicians and are adept at connecting with their audience. Revolution Hall is a quaint venue based in a remodeled turn of the century high school, with trendy cafes and a roof top cocktail lounge that provides an excellent view of the Portland Skyline. I highly recommend this concert hall that heralds an excellent sound system, and a stage that is visible from every seat in the house!
