  • I was lucky enough to see them in Boston in the House of Blues and they were awesome. Even better than that I met the great Conor Deeney 111 and had a chat and he signed my tricolour. Then we met Conor Curley and Tom Coll and we discussed the plights of Cork Hurling, Monaghan and Mayo football and where we could find a venue in Cork to house a huge crowd. Cyprus Avenue ..to small. Opera House ...too boring. City Hall ... just right. They were the soundest and interesting guys to talk to you could meet. They could not believe we went to Boston to see them. Since we came home we have been in Manchester and Glasgow to see them. The Limerick gig.. can't wait for. We (my wife and I are also going to Derry to see them. Why do we love them so much? Because they sing about reality in the Ireland we know. Love the guys! One more album and they are into big stadiums. Nice to see the Artic monkeys supporting them on their North American tour. Fair Dues! I can't name one Artic Monkeys song. "Their childhood was small now they are gonna be big"!!!!

  • This band is brilliant and seeing them live was unforgettable-even days after their show, I find myself thinking of it. Other reviewers criticize they do not interact with the crowd, short set, etc-personally, I don't care about that rubbish. It is about the music for me and these guys played a breathtaking show, hands down.

  • Massive let down. Band seemed completely uninterested. No real spark and zero interaction with the crowd. To top it all off, the sound was absolutely dreadful. The night never got going and I left early. Dogrel was one of my favourite albums of 2019, but Fontaines was one of my worst gig experiences ever.
