About Over The Eight:
Over the Eight aims to demonstrate just why pubs were called public houses to begin with, by providing all the elements of a home in a welcoming, spirited environment. Of course we have drink, but also food, culture and entertainment, and family – in this instance, not only our friendly neighborhood bartenders, but the clientele themselves (that’s you). Our goal is to encourage connection on every level.

We came to love this space in the bygone days of Royal Oak and the sense of community it engendered. Let's bring it back! With readings, art shows, dance parties, and straight up-and-down good food and music, there's something for everyone. The soul of this place is the people, not the products. We won’t be everything for everyone, but we will be welcoming, warm, and happy to see you.
