THE HALCYONS

The Halcyons are an Indie/Rock band from Hartlepool. We write our own songs and are looking forward to promoting them throughout the North East.

Each band member has been in various cover bands with/without each other over the last 15 years. We are all from the same area of Hartlepool.

The band are currently recording their first album which we have been working on for some time now. We only recently gained a singer/rhythm guitarist which has opened up the opportunity to start gigging & promoting our songs.

STEVE COOKE

A funk maverick from the far left of the leftfield. Steve Cooke blends sharp-witted lyrics with sleazy funk, geeky electronica and spiky new wave.

He is perhaps best-known for his infamous strap-on organs, or the keytars he uses as part of his hi-tech stage act, which features audience participation and catchy tunes with a satirical take on politics and social mores.
