Like sorbet is to a warm Summer day, The Satellites are your perfect Saturday night companion. Nestle in and make yourself comfortable as they play a mix of originals and covers including Hendrix, Ray Charles and underground funk bands like The Poets of Rhythm.

Comprised of some of Brisbane’s finest players, the band brings together the talent of hard-core drummer Mark Henman (Bernard Fanning, Afro Dizi Act, Resin Dogs, Band of Frequencies and Numbers Radio) with the guitar and vocals of David Orr (Hip Pocket and Numbers Radio). Add to that the throbbing vibrations of bass player Chris Pearson (Ten Tenors and indie band Washington) and you’ve got yourself a stellar Saturday evening.
