- After the conclusion of The Redwood Plan, Seattle fixture Lesli Wood returns with her latest surf-pop offering, Skates! Formed practically on a whim, Wood created Skates! within one month of TRP's finale - booking a tour and a debut show even before finalizing the line-up of her latest project. Now joined by Larry Brady (bass) and Stormi King (drums), Skates! is an outlet for Wood's care-free pop songs and unforgettable melodies. Influences hint at Husker Du, Talking Heads, and Best Coast. As expected, Skates! live shows are energetic and full of melodic-goodness. The band's debut album, "Skates! is a Band" was released in March, 2015. The album finds Wood once again working with renowned producer, Martin Feveyear.
