We roll tonight to the guitar bite of the familiar from Live/Wire and their blistering AC/DC show, complete with cannons, a Bon Scott, a Brian Johnson, a wall of Marshalls and a duck-walking Angus.

…and of soon-to-be familiar, with Planet Rock favourites, Federal Charm, bringing a new fresh edge to the ‘For Those About To Rock’ line-up.

For those who know, Live/Wire’s drop you slap-bang in the middle of an AC/DC show with hit after hit: Back in Black, A Whole Lotta Rosie, Highway To Hell… the songs go on and on and keep a-coming until the cannons fire ceremoniously to bring the evening to a superb crescendo.

… and for those who don’t, Federal Charm are full of twin-guitar twists and stop-start rhythms. Their original take and fresh direction on the classic rock curve has turned many. They draw from a deep well – from the Allman Brothers to Led Zeppelin, stopping off on the way to pay a call in at Thin Lizzy, the revamp-blues of The Black Keys and the contemporary bluster of Rival Sons.
