Jimmy Willden, an award winning filmmaker and writer has an arresting brand of folk rock that brings to mind the sounds of late 60s/early 70s soul coupled with modern alternative-rock, creating a sound all of its own. It’s somewhere between the world-weary angst of Jackson Browne and the edgy restlessness of Foo Fighters frontman, Dave Grohl.
