Splatter

Splatter welcomes the brilliant young Portuguese drummer and composer, Pedro Melo Alves, to their line-up. Playing alongside fellow countryman, Jose Luis Marins, the band now has a Portuguese heart. It is a heart that beats with arrhythmia to jagged, scorching pulses. It is a heart that isn’t afraid to say what it feels. It is a heart that follows, responds, asserts, a heart that welcomes silence and noise in equal measure, a heart that plunges headlong into the eternal present that is improvisation.
