Electric Octopus are a new and exciting musical cabal that'll take your mind on a weird and wonderful adventure. They've got over a full working week of recorded output which has incredibly amassed streaming figures in the millions. This year alone, they've been on a month-long European tour, played Portugal's Sonic Blast Festival, and collaborated with some of Belfast's finest musicians across a broad spectrum of disciplines along the way. Blending funk, blues, psychedelia, and the unfuckwithable alchemy of Tyrell Black, Dale Hughes & Guy Hetherington, they're Northern Ireland's foremost jam band.

Unbelievable Lake were born out of a series of lengthy jam sessions in the single-windowed attic of a Georgian manse at the foot of the Sperrins during long hours upon long nights over the last number of years. Their ever-evolving compositions are written to evoke urban isolation & rural decay, inspired by their surroundings, anxiety, yearning, dystopia & the Condition. With the experimental approach of early '70s kosmische krautrock, they explore repetition and space, contrasting elements of the experimental psychedelia, prog & space rock of early Pink Floyd or Acid Mothers Temple with the confrontational, ritualistic overtones of drone, metal and no wave found in the likes of Swans, Om & Sleep. (All being well) 2018 will see a trip to Europe, as well as the release of their debut LP, recorded in a rural church.
