“Release” is the culmination of a year-long journey that began with a desire to create honest and soulful music in Hong Kong. The four-song EP – inspired mainly by the hopes, aspirations and struggles of youth in the city – will be brought to life for one night only, with the same passion and energy that went into its creation. Come celebrate and experience the new EP plus some other original material, performed by Ryan Cheung and his stellar band.

Ryan is an independent singer-songwriter and guitarist born and raised in Hong Kong. Inspired by the music of John Mayer and Bruno Major, he hopes to incorporate into his music the same hope, emotion and groove that are imbued in theirs. His debut EP, “Release”, marks the beginning of his pursuit of a career in music, which he hopes to balance with his full-time job as a doctor.

張海傑是一位在香港出生和成長的獨立創作歌手和結他手。受John Mayer和Bruno Major的音樂啟發，他希望將同樣的希望和快樂的能量注入他的創作。首張EP “Release” 於2019年5月推出，標誌著他平衡音樂事業及全職醫生工作的旅程開始。
