Songwriters at Play host Steve Key presents an afternoon of live music featuring Washington State-based duo, The Billy Novas

Marianne Flemming, originally from South Florida is a veteran performer who has won numerous awards for her songwriting. Her music combines a jazzy vocal ala Rickie Lee Jones, the folk style of Janis Ian, and the straight-ahead emotionalism of Patty Griffin. Marianne has toured across the country and been played on radio around the world. She has just released her 5th recording project, "Across the Hemisphere", recorded and produced at home with her husband Kevin Neil. He is a native Washingtonian who's played guitar in many Portland/Vancouver area bands and on numerous recordings. Highlights for him include performing with the Tacoma Symphony Orchestra, Stevie Wonder, Reckless Heart and Diamond Rio.
