Me & Munich

Me & Munich follows up with their second album, Postponing The Past, which expands the palette in both breadth and depth, and offers a solid bid for a versatile and insistent alternative rock album.

Me & Munich last dived below the surface on their debut Gaslighting, where this time they have moved up from the underground
on the sequel Postponing The Past, which exudes ambition and drive.

At Postponing The Past, the band delivers a well-crafted, well-cast and versatile album that embraces wider, and which takes the listener by the hand in a sound universe of energy, melody and melancholy. The band's sound balances
between feelings of savagery and perdition, which have moments of light and
dark, and a sound image that is too hard for indie and too soft for metal.
This dualism is the hallmark of Me & Munich.

Me & Munich's first album Gaslighting received positive attention both inland, where it was nominated for the Gaffa award for Best Rock Album and Best New Danish Band in 2020 and received 4/6 stars in GAFFA with the words:
"Hefty and breathtaking hybrid rock (...) leaves the listener with a curiosity and a lot of strong melodies", as well as attention abroad with its international sound, and which at the same time hit the audience to the concerts with a remarkable wildness, immersion and atmosphere.
