Songwriters at Play host Steve Key presents an afternoon of live music featuring L.A.-based Americana band, the Pi Jacobs trio.

Singer songwriter Pi Jacobs draws inspiration from her unconventional upbringing in “The Land of Weed and Wine”, otherwise known as Northern California. Blending roots-rock swagger and a storytelling soul, her music has drawn comparisons to Tom Waits, Dolly Parton, and Lucinda Williams. With an old Gibson guitar, a singing voice that's been called "sultry” and “explosive”, and a thumping homemade stomp box, Pi creates a show that is a mesmerizing affair.
