El Santo Golpe is a group from Riverside California that originated in 2016. This artist collective was created with the vision of bringing an original sound to the fun world of "Afro-Latin" music.
Their show is a one-of-a-kind musical spectacle that has taken the Afro-Latin music scene by surprise with their energetic performances, unique sounds, and compositions. During their musical career, they’ve been able to share the stage with artists such as GRAMMY winner Natalia Lafourcade, Lupillo Rivera, Panteon Rococo, LA Cumbia legends Very Be Careful, GRAMMY nominated La Cuneta Son Machin, and more.
Influenced by the many sounds and traditions from all over Latin-America and created by the Musical Diaspora over so many years, El Santo Golpe is a musical fusion where sounds, rhythms, poetry, and dance can be expressed by anyone and everyone.
Using traditional instrumentation like Jaranas and Tarimas (a wooden platform) from Son Jarocho (Mexico), Primero from Garifuna (Belize), Djambe from West Africa, Accordions and Tambora from Colombia, and many more, El Santo Golpe uses their music as a universal language to help close gaps between different cultures, genres, ages and beliefs, creating a world community where we call can dance, sing, laugh, and forget about our daily troubles.
