Edapollo is Melbourne based, UK born producer and multi-instrumentalist Ed Bidgood. His music fuses diverse influences from atmospheric downtempo, electronica and house, keeping a focus on organic elements and a human feel in his production. He originally started producing & releasing independently, notching up widespread support and building a solid fanbase through social media.
In late 2021 Ed released his landmark album ‘Blue Spring’ independently through Opine, which received a huge amount of support from radio, tastemakers and streaming platforms. With regular support coming from BBC Radio 1 (UK), BBC 6Music (UK), Sirius XM (USA), Worldwide FM, Triple J (AUS) & more. The album notched up over 10 million streams in under a year and he has also had 2 tracks enter the Spotify viral 50 charts in Japan & Canada. On top of these achievements, he had 3 tracks achieve the no.1 spot on the highly regarded HypeMachine website. He’s built a steady following and reputation for his output and gained over 60 million streams across streaming platforms in the process.
In 2022 he launched his brand new live AV show which debuted for the first time to sold out audiences in Melbourne in June and then in London in September. In 2023, he toured the USA and Australia supporting Mild Minds across many major Cities. He then released his new album ‘Technicolour Places’ via the globally renowned Foreign Family Collective & Ninja Tune labels, taking his music to new heights with further global support across radio and press, leading to his first headline tours and festival bookings.
