Charu Suri

In this performance, award-winning pianist and composer Charu Suri goes on a sonic journey that bridges sounds of both East and West, as well as introduces listeners to the art of the songbook. Joining her onstage will be drummer Joe Lastie from Preservation Hall in New Orleans, Hammered dulcimer virtuoso and Grammy® nominee Max ZT, vocalists Ri Wolf, Cassandra Kubinski and Danielle Erin Rhodes, as well as Sufi singer Falsa. In August 2023, Suri won the Gold Entertainer of the Year from the International Singer Songwriters (ISSA), an Intercontinental Music Award for her work, Verona Waltz (Best of North American Jazz), and her latest album Rags & Ragas was mentioned by All About Jazz as one of the top albums of 2023.
