Finally got to see Jessica Simpson in concert! I could cry when this woman sings "I wanna love you forever"- it was one of those songs I always listened to when I missed my long distance boyfriend.
She's got that growl in her voice that just makes you shiver as it pierces you. Maybe she's not really feeling it, but I'd venture that she totally is. No one can fake that. And her fun dance music was just HOT. I can't help but dance to Irresistible, and the black skimpy outfit she was wearing totally fit the mood of the song!
The half naked men dancing with her on stage didn't hurt, either. I swear to god this woman is the queen of upbeat pop dance love music. I Think I'm in Love With you is always going to be one of those songs everyone will know, and she pulled it off. The venue was pretty big- there were a lot of people who were really responsive to the music. She had heart shaped lights up on stage for her love songs, and the live instruments were all the way in back, really putting Jessica center stage. She was the focus, and the audience loved it.
