Soul Filter is a Summerside, PEI-based Alt Rock-Pop band, known for their 90s-inspired sound and heartfelt, confessional lyrics, evident in their latest single "Letters To Myself". Fronted by husband-and-wife duo Karen and Mike Penton, the award nominated four-piece band blends introspective themes with catchy, anthemic melodies, soulful vocals, pop hooks and gritty guitar, while taking inspiration from emotive artists like Alanis Morissette, The Cranberries, Sheryl Crow and a touch of Sass Jordan. Their live performances deliver a dynamic mix of original music and female fronted, windows down, nostalgic retro rock pop. Members are: Karen Penton on lead vocals & acoustic rhythm guitar, Mike Penton on electric lead guitar, Ronnie Arsenault on bass, and Andy Adams on drums.

2023 ECMA winners and 2026 nominees Dali Van Gogh are a female fronted Hard Rock band from Halifax, Nova Scotia. They are known for their showmanship, originality, and musicianship, and have performed across Canada with the likes of Buckcherry, and The Glorious Sons. The band's latest single, "Wicked Way", is nominated at the 2026 East Coast Music Awards for Best Loud [Hard Rock] Release. Prior to this, the band's 2022 EP, "New Blood, Old Wounds", won a 2023 ECMA for Loud Recording of the Year, and was also nominated for Rock Recording. It was mixed by multiple Juno and Grammy winning producers Eric Ratz (The Arkells, Billy Talent) and Robert Laidlaw (Platinum Blonde, Honeymoon Suite). Dali Van Gogh recently announced the release of their new live record, “Roadkill”, which begins dropping in a waterfall format on May 22nd, 2026.
