When I bought tickets to see them, it was originally because Bridgit Mendler was opening and I really wanted to see her. Then they changed the opening act to James Hersey, so I went to the show not really knowing what to expect/not really too excited, but oh my gosh!! Chop Suey is a cool intimate venue, and while standing in the back I was really impressed by James Hersey. I was smiling and stuff, but then....Then Powers came out. I wasn't sure what to expect! But wow, this duo has SO much personality and passion! You could tell they loved their music as they sang and bounced and played some instruments, and it all sounded so cool. The way they talked to us was super sweet. What else was cool was that on like the second song this sweet girl goes down into the crowd and sings there, while with the second to the last song this gentleman did the same thing. It was so cool, we were all crowded around him, we had our hands up while we were all bouncing and dancing. SO fun to dance with this duo, especially when they performed Dance, Beat of My Drum, Legendary etc. They even sang some new tracks I've never heard before and they were SO good! So basically what I'm trying to say is I'm super impressed by them, it was SUCH a good show and I'm still smiling from it. They're great performers, it was all good vibes, I loved them. I loved the music. I loved all of it so much. I go to a lot of concerts (I've been to 30+ and I'm only 180) so it's a big deal when I say this show is in my top 10 favorites!
