Joe Hisaishi

This season’s Composer-in-Focus, Joe Hisaishi, has established himself as a formidable force in contemporary music for his delicately crafted symphonic and solo works. A passionate champion of similarly experimental artists, Hisaishi brings his MUSIC FUTURE series to the LA Phil, highlighting the works and talents of his notable collaborators such as Bryce Dessner and Nico Muhly, as well as his original compositions. The concert will feature chamber performances, and works conducted by Hisaishi himself.
