Proudly independent new-music-industry pioneers Hope & Social return to The Brudenell for the first time in two years to bring their inimitable "Extraordinary songs, virtuoso performances, beautiful moments and music hall bonhomie!" (Tom Robinson, BBC6Music) to their spiritual home. Proudly touting their new album (production schedule and vinyl pressing permitting), an artistic development and honing of the approach from their critically and fan acclaimed “The Ride”, this show is no support. No filler. Just an all-killer, brass-blasting, harmony-soaring, audience-singing, musically blistering blue-jacketed blowout.
For the ever innovative Hope & Social, a show is much more than just a gig; it's a party, a coming-together, a reunion of friends. Hope & Social turn every show into a celebration. It’s like your favourite bar band just headlined a festival - with you in the front row, singing every word.
Think Springsteen meets soul revue. Think kicking horn section, soaring five-part harmonies and a big-hearted mix of indie, soul, folk and art pop, and some of the finest songs you’ll ever sing at the top of your lungs. “Brilliant, uplifting and inclusive. That was amazing, here’s your cheque!” – Michael Eavis, Glastonbury Festival
