What a great gig this was. Very atmospheric location (a former auction turned church). Vehicles speeding by silently in the dark outside the picture windows gave a poetic air to the performance.
Georgie’s self penned, blues-tinged, numbers were all excellent and covers of Bonnie Raitt & Springsteen were delivered terrifically.
Georgie’s tales of tough streets and hard drinking belie her tender years.
The gig was recorded and will seemingly soon be a live album. Let’s hope it’s released in physical formal and not just lost in the bowels of some streaming website.
Notts can be very proud of it’s latest artistic daughter.
