MAXON and Mietta

Mietta is a Mornington Peninsula singer-songwriter whose tender folk music weaves place, feeling, and community into acoustic soundscapes that invite you to slow down and truly listen. Earthy, graceful, and unhurried, her voice carries the influence of storying traditions encountered through her work and travels across Australia and beyond. She has shared stages with Pete Murray, Kim Churchill, and Charm of Finches, and her releases 'Slowly', 'Childlike Wondering', 'Beyond The Past' and 'Eden' are available on streaming platforms now. Her debut album 'When The Water Stills' launches this year.

Maxon is an award-winning singer-songwriter whose music blends folk-rock with a modern pop edge and deeply personal storytelling. Her debut album Talking With Strangers, released in April 2026, explores heartbreak, healing, and the search for unconditional love. In 2025, Maxon released the standout singles 18 and Everything Is Green, the latter winning the Green Wedge Song Competition and becoming a finalist in the Environmental Music Prize 2025. She has performed on lineups with Tones and I, Ella Hooper, Mick Thomas (and more), building a reputation for powerful live performances that pair raw vulnerability with warmth and joy. Maxon's set will feature Nay Pattuwage (Like Bear) on guitar and vocals.
