We are Frifelt — Shepherd Sound Systems’ residency at Tað Oslo. Led by our very own resident DJ, Mr. Huxby who opens this late-May session as summer approaches.

This edition, we invite KUSHT who will perform live alongside percussionist Antonio “Toño” Torner, blending electronic music with live acoustic drums and guitar on stage. Kusht (currently Oslo-based) is an internationally renowned artist performing his live sets at stages such as Seebühne at Fusion Festival and Polygon Stage at Wonderfruit. This evening at Tad, Kusht & “Toño” Torner will push the Kusht live show to the next level!

Joining the line-up to channel all our excitement is local hero Tâmitan. We have had the pleasure of observing the evolution of this artist since his first appearances on stage, and have always been very impressed by his talent as a DJ. It is such a good time to oversee the audiovisuals with Tâmitan in the booth! He doesn’t hold back and lights the dancefloor on fire every time!

Kusht & the Toňo Drums
Kusht hails from the Scottish Lowlands and has carved out a place in the downtempo scene with his distinct, genre-bending and psychedelic live shows. On stage, he blends bouncing beats, spaced-out guitar, and worldly sampling into ever-evolving sets where no two performances are the same.
For this special show, Kusht is joined by Oslo-based Latin percussionist Antonio “Toño” Torner—active in the scene since 1998, with credits including Oslo Chamber Music and Det Norske Båss Ensemble, and a background in teaching across cultural schools. Having previously played together at Dattera Til Hagen in 2017, the duo reunites to bring a dynamic live experience.
Expect deep grooves, live Latin percussion, polyrhythms, driving basslines, and psyched-out guitar textures.
