The Bones. Original band name. I guess that band name does sound pretty inventive and original is you’re Swedish. Anyways, The Bones are a powerhouse rock band from Karlskrona, Sweden. They have been together since 96’ and have worked ever so hard over the years to secure their place in the rock and roll world with fantastically played guitars, plenty of angst and some equally memorable songs. When they perform live, that is what it is all about. They walk out on stage with guitars over their shoulders, ready to party and to engage this audience in what they do, and that is some fantastically constructed rock. The lights go down and the amps go up, most likely to 11. It’s pretty amazing to see them play these songs live, and make them work, as on the recordings there are some over dubbed guitars making some huge walls of sounds. They play so well live and are very tight. The audience dig it, as they jump, sing, dance, mosh and generally have a good time. “Smile of the Cobra” is fantastically played tonight.
