As Cape Verde steps onto the world stage at the FIFA World Cup, the Freedom Experience lands in Miami for a one-night celebration of music, culture, food, cocktails, and community.

Hosted by June Freedom—winner of Cape Verde Album of the Year, Music Video of the Year, and Collaboration of the Year—this is an immersive cultural experience, not just a concert or dinner.

From 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM, The Lafayette in Brickell transforms into the Freedom Experience. Inside the former El Tucán space, the venue blends cuisine, cocktails, design, and live music in an intimate setting.

The Freedom Experience has traveled through Lisbon, Praia, São Vicente, and Atlanta, bringing together artists, DJs, musicians, and creatives in every city. Each edition is unique, shaped by the people and energy in the room. This Miami edition celebrates Cape Verde’s World Cup moment.

Guests are invited to arrive early for dinner and cocktails while Cape Verdean painter Amadeo Carvalho presents a curated exhibition alongside a vinyl listening session honoring Cape Verde’s musical heritage.

Throughout the night, expect Cape Verdean music, Afrobeats, Afro House, and Afro-diasporic sounds, with surprise guests and live moments. At the center is June Freedom with a live set designed to break the barrier between stage and audience—turning the room into part of the performance.
