Brendan Harney, Luke Hebert and Scott Levesque formed the American indie-rock band; Wheat, back in 1996 and they have been through their share of ups and down. But despite the collapse of a label they were signed to, and even a short break, they have endured. Some of their music has been featured in RomCom movies, but don’t let that deter you from their music. They do not make songs that are cheesy love songs; they are life songs that happen to include the important factor of love.
When you watch their live sets, you can clearly see that they absolutely love making the music that they do, especially with each other. They have great chemistry together that only becomes more apparent during the between song banter that they do when they are tuning their instruments. There is no exceptional stage setup or anything that particularly that stands out on stage, because they keep the concentration solely on the music. The reason you want to take the time to see their live set is because they seem to be unique each show; specifically, the environment can really set up the tone of each song building up to an extremely unique atmosphere.
