The Prids

The best 80s Manchester band not to come from Manchester, or indeed the 80s. The Prids UK debut saw Portland's finest put a unique slant on the indie/alternative/post punk sound that made the city famous.
The influence of the Chameleons, Joy Division and The Smiths could be detected within their set which comprised of songs from the fabulous new album 'Do I Look Like I'm in Love' and tracks from their rich musical back catalogue.
This band has been around for a while, and are tight. It was refreshing to hear professionals at work. The crowd thought so too, demanding an encore.
A night that will live long in the memory, in a great venue too.
