Saturday! Liz Wendelbo is the co-host of the SHAME! Party on July 18 where she will mix coldwave, post-punk, minimal synth w/ L.Sangre and will be shining the spotlight on Silent Em LIVE at Flux Lumina on the Bowery in NYC. Silent Em is the project of New York based artist Jean Lorenzo. We’ve known Jean for many years and have performed and mixed on numerous occasions around New York. He is also the artist who worked with us on the design for our album Vi/deo that is available as a CD on our bandcamp and on Vinyl on the Dais Records website www.daisrecords.com/products/xeno-and-oaklander-video
We have fond memories of the months spent with Jean creating the scented insert for the limited edition LP. Maybe some of you own this rare collectible! We also share a similar love for all things analog including photographic super-imposition: double exposure ! (Pics 1 and 2) Jean Lorenzo puts on live shows that are full of passion and intensity - not to be missed!
