Second Storey Launches ‘High Canopy’ Label & Club Night at Moon Club, Bristol.

Celebrating 20 years since his first vinyl release, Alec Storey (Second Storey) launches High Canopy—a new record label and club night dedicated to mechanised, cerebral dancefloor workouts and deep, experimental terrain. To mark the launch, Storey has invited three underground pioneers to Moon Club for a night of uncompromising electronic music.

Radioactive Man (Keith Tenniswood): A steadfast titan of UK electro and machine funk for nearly three decades. Known for his seminal work in Two Lone Swordsmen alongside the late Andrew Weatherall, and releases on Warp and his own Asking For Trouble imprint, Tenniswood’s sets shift effortlessly from cosmic, acidic electro to devastating club weapons.

Appleblim (Laurie Osborne): The Berlin-based Skull Disco co-founder is a true originator of the dubstep/techno crossover. Following two critically acclaimed 2026 albums (Liminal Tides on Quiet Details and Neolithic Neon on Sneaker Social Club), the legendary selector brings his forward-thinking, bass-informed style back to Bristol.

Ben Pest (Ben Mallott): One of the UK’s most unpredictable live performers, delivering a chaotic fusion of high-octane techno, twisted electro, and modular rave. With releases on Mechatronica and I Love Acid, his signature elastic basslines and pointillist percussion are built for pure dancefloor devastation.

Second Storey: Navigating a singular lane at the intersection of hyper-textured IDM, muscular electro, and soundsystem culture, the label boss brings the advanced beat physics found on his recent Frustrated Funk EP, Descend To Ascend.

Taking its name from the legendary venue that once occupied the site, Moon Club offers a 360° L’Acoustics sound experience in an intimate 200-capacity setting. Where the future of sound meets the legacy of the past.
