In September I’ll be joined by Phoenix Mendoza. Phoenix wrote or co-wrote 3 songs on the new Wilder Blue album coming out August 28th. He’s a singer-songwriter, guitar player, painter, carpenter, and story-teller who seems to have walked right out of 1977. You’ll enjoy getting to know him as we play some of the songs off the new Wilder Blue album and talk about how they came to be.

The Song Dog concert series happens every first Tuesday of the month in the Augustus (music venue attached to the Local Yocal BBQ and Grill) in McKinney. Past guests include Tracy Byrd, Radney Foster, Deryl Dodd, Cleto Cordero of Flatland Cavalry, Stoney Larue, Mike Ryan, and many more. Get the best seats by reserving in advance, especially because some shows do sell out.

Ticket price for the first three rows includes a meal at 6:15 which you can eat at your seat.
Music begins at 7 PM
Show is generally over by 9:30 PM
