Swinging Cat Jazz Club presents a powerful celebration of women in jazz, bringing together acclaimed saxophonist Hannah Horton, special guest pianist Emily Francis, the Hannah Horton Quartet, and award-winning youth ensemble J Steps.
This one-night event connects leading professional artists with the next generation of female and non-binary jazz musicians, in an evening full of groove, improvisation, storytelling and musical courage.
Guest pianist Emily Francis brings her distinctive blend of jazz, soul, funk, progressive rock and groove-driven contemporary music to Hannah’s quartet, while J Steps open the evening with the energy and authenticity that has taken them from Abbey Road Studios to the EFG London Jazz Festival.
A joyful, inspiring night of live jazz, celebrating creativity, confidence and the future of the music.
