Subb-an

Subb-An has a busy few weeks ahead of him. Next weekend (18th October) he's set to perform at the well respected Warehouse Project alongside Eats Everything and Laurent Garnier in Manchester, before heading off to Australia to tour throughout early November. But a few months ago, I was lucky enough to see Subb-An perform for the first time, at Nottingham based club night, dollop's 10th birthday. As part of an incredible line up boasting George Fitzgerald, Dusky and Lunice, it was quite the birthday celebration, and he certainly didn't disappoint. Playing a mix of his own original tracks, remixes and some more obscure material, it was a great set. DJ Mag named him their 'DJ of the Year' back in 2011 and since then he's released on the labels; Crosstown Rebels, Saved and Spectral, and played sets practically all around the world. He has also produced remixes for the likes of Foals, Lana Del Ray and Noir & Haze as well as collaborating with arguably the biggest name in electronic music Seth Troxler on their track 'Time' with Tom Trago.
