One of the best experiences of my life was seeing the Murderdolls live in 2003 at Big Day Out. To me they are the best band to do horror punk. Before they even started the set the crowd was ready rock out. With our middle fingers in the air, the crowd was amped and Wednesday 13 started the set with Die my bride. The crowd was chanting "die" "die" "die" with our fist pumped before the song started.
It was so loud and everyone was singing along and just enjoying themselves. I remember them performing Grave robbing USA and everyone started head nodding. Joey Jordison was slaying on the guitar and the rest of the band was rocking out. Then when you thought things couldn't get better we broke out a few mosh pits and I got carried away for a moment.
The last song the Murderdolls performed was my favorite song Twist my sister. All the guys in the band were going crazy, slashing their hair and rolling their heads. The Murderdolls energy was off the meter and it was a super wicked time all around. This was a performance that I am so happy that I got to see.
