Shooglenifty

As ever a joyous experience. Virtuosity x 6 plus Kaela's mesmerising vocals. Live music doesn't get much better. Returning to La Belle Angele, rebuilt from the ashes of the Cowgate fire, was a surreal experience. It's a funky new venue, but I feel privileged to have been at the earliest Shooglenifty gigs, when there really were just a few die hards in the audience, plus a dog, huddled round a wee electric fire.

The musicians were all top of their field. An emotional night for Angus. The crowd were approaciative and knowledgable . The compère added a note of Humour and created a great atmosphere

I first saw Shooglenifty just over the border in wales in 1997. I'm from aus, and since then I've been to 2 of their concerts in Geelong. Love their music. Denise
