Born in South London in 1988, Abiona spent much of his childhood in Ghana before returning to South London, UK for his secondary education. It wasn’t long before Abiona began making his mark on South London both for his producing and rapping talents, and through his mobile studio Abiona was able to assist young people in his area exploring their creative and musical outlets. Around this time the rapper also helped found the TINA (This Is New Africa) movement, which aimed to encourage individuals of African descent to take pride in their heritage and support the developmentt of their communities.
Abiona met with African producer Killbeats and rapper Tiffany in Ghana and collaborated on the track “Azonto”, which before long went viral with a video exhibiting ‘Azonto’ dancing and of which introduced the rapper to the world. The dance-rap track drew similarities to Akon and K’naan and led to a Urban Music Award for Best Afro-Beats artist in 2012 and a nod for a Ghana Music Award.
September 2012 brought the musician’s EP “The Buzz”, shorty after Fuse ODG embarked on a worldwide tour including dates in Ghana, Liberia, Amsterdam and Cyprus. In June 2013 Abiona released the official single “Antenna” which peaked at No. 7 on the UK Singles Chart, featuring Wyclef Jean, the single and video had been released on YouTube in 2012 and amassed over 11million views.

With his big energy and awesome beats, London-born but Ghana-raised singer Fuse ODG has managed to bring Afrobeat to the UK mainstream with his singles “Dangerous Love” and “Million Pound Girl.” Both songs have successfully forced multitudes of people to get up on their feet, feel the music and just dance.
Fuse ODG’s multi-country upbringing lends a real transnational vibe to his music, and instantly reminds you what a uniting force music can be. Fuse ODG’s sound is a true coming together of Europe and Africa, with each musical tradition working with the other to build a sound that is fresh and so much fun.
Just like his music, on stage Fuse ODG is full of energy and life as he bounds across the stage singing and rapping and interacting with the audience. He approaches his concerts as a collaborative effort, with the audience expected to give as much energy as he is. During “Azonto” you absolutely must dance – it would be rude to – and the same absolutely goes for “Antenna” and his hit songs from this year. You’ll absolutely have a great time at a Fuse ODG gig; go see him!
Nana Richard Abiona better known by his stage name Fuse ODG exploded onto the UK music scene in 2013 with his reggae and dancehall inspired pop sounds with the infectious single 'Antenna'. Since then he has appeared across the country on his own tour and numerous festival appearances delighting crowds with his afrobeat heavy show.
From the moment he bounds onto stage with his hype men and dancers you know you are in for a fun show. The free style beats fill the room instantly and you cannot help but move along even if you do not know all the words to the songs. He already has a number of hits in his discography despite having only released one album so 'Dangerous Love' 'T.I.N.A' and 'Antenna' all receive huge reaction from the crowd. 'Million Pound Girl' ends the show in style and has the whole audience dancing and singing along as Nana takes his final bows, looking pretty reluctant to leave.
