Ojos de Brujo

I was lucky enough to see the amazing and infinitely talented Ojos de Brujo live at Jools Holland.
She began singing right away and never let up all that night. The string instruments provided a fantastic unique Latin song as she danced around and sang her beautiful songs. The bongos made us all feel alive and like dancing along with her. The mariachi sounds were spot on and perfect for the type of show that she put on.
Nothing about that night could have been better, not the crowd, not the music, not myself, not my date, nothing. It was the perfect evening of enjoying great music. The audience was very into the music, moving around, swaying their hips, just having fun with the music and dancing in time with it.
People clapped and yelled out phrases in Spanish during the guitar solos. It sounded like being at an authentic Mexican restaurant. This was not the Taco Bell of music, it was perfect. I cannot believe what a perfect job she did performing that night, and I wouldn't change anything for the world. I would highly recommend seeing Ojos de Brujo live to every one that is interested in Spanish music of any kind.
