Apollo 440

Seeing Apollo 440 live is one of those things that needs to be personally experienced before it can be fully appreciated, no matter how appealing it sounds beforehand.
Their best-known song, ‘Can’t Stop The Rock,’ as booming and raucous as it is recorded, takes on a whole new, ear-shattering, body-shaking dimension when played live, with the thunderous sound one might expect, and an all-consuming light show that takes the experience in new, amazing directions. Not a note is lost, and despite the amount of electronics and samples in the song – and many of their others as well – nothing suffers in the transition to the stage, unlike many other performers utilizing the same basic techniques and musical tools.
As one might expect, Apollo 440 covers a wide range of their previous releases when performing live before an audience, and whether an audience member is a fan of their rock, techno, ambient, dub, or electronic aspects, it’s impossible to be disappointed. More likely, everyone in attendance will be enthralled by much more than just one’s favorite things, leaving every audience member appreciative of not just what they know they like, but also well aware there’s much more they enjoyed, and wishing the show never ended.

Really excellent show. Good fun, loads of energy. If they play in the UK near you well work seeing. I'm particularly impressed since this was the first UK gig in 17 years, there were no major issues with the sound or performance and they all clearly had a great time. I'd say it's a must see for anyone who grew up in the 90's especially, really took me back.
